At Mass Impact Church we are particular about how we operate. We are mutually accountable to each other. The leadership team meets regularly to pray, share and plan. Each Mass Impacter is encouraged to closely knit together with like-minded (and not-so-like-minded) believers. Our aim is to become and to be family to each other – a spiritual family joined together with a common blood-line, that of our Lord Jesus Christ! We seek to treat each other with love and respect.
While our Lord accepts us the way we are, He loves us too much to leave us the way He finds us. In the same way we practice love that values accountability by spurring each other on to spiritual growth (Hebrews 10:24) so that we are all growing up together into our Lord’s likeness. There are some who are passing through a season in life where they want to blend in and be hidden in a crowd, and seek churches where that may be possible. At Mass Impact we believe that life is best lived together, and we will gently but persistently encourage sharing in one another’s life experience so that together we bear each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and partake of each other's triumphs.
Our services are easy-going and not overly regimented. Our worship is simple and heart-felt. We de-emphasize externals (flashy media, for example) without being stuck in the caveman era. We focus on dealing with the common human problem of sin. Our preaching and teaching formats all hone in on the Gospel - a Gospel that deals with eternal change and not merely the present life.
We emphasize spiritual growth and discourage spiritual “coasting”. We believe that one’s faith is shown in action (James 2:18). We encourage consistency in the Christian walk, knowing that regular face-to-face fellowship with each other in church (Hebrews 10:25) is a crucial component of the expressed Body of Christ. We gather, we share, we love and we live – together for God’s glory. You are certain to feel loved and accepted when you visit Mass Impact Church.
Our love is not merely the result of our church culture. The way we love is really an outgrowth of what we know Christ has done for us, enabling us to do for others. We welcome you to join in!
